PRIVACY STATEMENT

UEDA respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to its web site. To protect online privacy, UEDA has implemented the following policy.

What information does UEDA collect?

It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. If our privacy policies change, we will notify all users by e-mail or a special announcement placed on the web site.

For General Users. UEDA does not collect any personal information from users browsing its web site. Users in the public areas of UEDA's web site browse anonymously. Only aggregate data, such as the number of hits per page, are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.

For UEDA dealer-members: To gain access to the members-only resources on the UEDA web site, members must enter a user id and password. When this is done, a temporary "cookie" is placed on the user's computer. (See How does UEDA use Cookies below.) This cookie is only valid for 24 hours and is optional. The sole purpose of the cookie is to allow the member to browse between the public pages and the members-only pages without having to log on each time the members-only resources are entered.

How does UEDA use data collected?

UEDA only uses data that is voluntarily submitted by members and other visitors to the web site. Generally, UEDA uses this data to respond to the user's request. On occasion, UEDA may also provide limited data to third parties that offer the products and/or services on which the visitor has requested information. Again, this is to allow those third parties to respond to the visitor's request. These limited data include names, job titles, companies, business addresses, and if applicable, business phone numbers, business fax numbers, business email addresses, and/or other service-related information.

How does UEDA use Cookies?

Cookies are files that contain information created by a web server that can be stored on a User's hard disk for use either during a particular session ("per session" cookie) or for future use ("persistent" cookie). UEDA uses cookies only when a member log on to the member-only section. The cookie is optional and temporary, with a useful life of 24 hours. If accepted, it allows the dealer-member to freely browse between the public and members-only portions of the web site without the need to log on each time the members-only section is entered. If the user declines the attachment of this cookie, the user must log on to the members-only section each time it is re-entered.

What Privacy issues arise with links to other sites?

This web site contains links to other internet sites. UEDA has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of such sites.

What means of redress are available?

If any User suspects UEDA has handled its personal information in a manner that does not comply with this privacy statement, please contact us by e-mailing to info @ amgllcusa.com or calling 614-889-1309.
